Design For Audiences - notes from brief

1. Audience as those people who you need to communicate with (need to understand them to be effective).
2. Audience as a demographic. A way of thinking about who you want to engage (audience focused)

How we could me the world better:
  • Less litter
  • free public transport
  • less use of non-renewable energy
  • less crime
  • no smoking
  • more for oap's
  • fair trade
  • no debt for the 3rd world
  • less packaging
What are the problems and who are effected?

Problems that motivate you:
  • depression
  • poverty
  • social ignorance
  • poor education
PROBLEM ---- poverty
ACTION ---- fundraising, petition, write letters, skills exchange etc
AUDIENCE ---- general public, people who buy from charity shops
PERSUADE ---- persuade your point to them

Research:
Secondary: (internet) problem, organization(s), three actions
Experimental: try out actions yourself (choose one)
Primary: get others to do the action
